About Me:: My names Brock, i am in my 6th year as a volunteer, i was with Big Beaver for all since i was 14 and just recently switched to Darlington Township. I have 5 family members who are also with Darlington, 1. Asst. Cheif, 1. Captain 2. Firefighters, and 1. Jr. Firefighter. I enjoy being a volunteer very much and plan on becoming a paid career firefighter.

Top Issues Facing Responders:: Being in my 6th year i would have to say, manpower, Mainly during the day due to the guys having day jobs. ageing equipment, older apparatus that have been used beyond their time. MONEY, I say money because the price of tools and apparatus keeps rising and funding is being cut. The list just goes on and on.
