Why I Joined Fire/EMS: Originally, to become closer to my dad who is also in the fire service. After my year commitment (my parents made me agree to) was up as a Junior Firefighter, I continued because I loved it! I love helping people and feel its important to give back to the community in which you live.

Kait, I know what you mean. Weds I went running in shorts and a t-shirt, thurs we had 4-6" of snow(all our choppers were grounded), and Sat it got back up in the mid-50's. But that is Denver for you. Hang in there! btw- what is NIMS; you have 3 classes?
