I have 3 kids, ages 21, 7, and 5. I am a stay-home mom. In my fire department I am head of our Fire Prevention Team. I love going to the schools and preschools and teaching the kids how to be safe. I have been Secretary and Vice Pres. in my department.

I joined to help my community; my mom, dad and stepmom were all on the Rescue Squad when I was growing up.

    Well, I can't take the pup to school with me, but I don't want my parents to forget how to be parents lol. After I leave, they might forget how to parent -- and I can't let them do that lol. They'll be grammie and grampie in a few years, and I want to make sure they've stayed on top of their abilities lol.

    I can answer the question about the relationship status as "other". It roughly means the same thing as "it's complicated" (as per Facebook). It's if you're not sure what you are... like you're separated, pending a divorce, and you're sneaking around with a married person... in which case, you're not really single, and you're not really married... haha.

    I'm here, just in a mellow mood. We found out this evening that one of our neighbors committed suicide. He left behind some kids, one of whom my daughter knows. Bothers me that it's just before fathers day. Why? Know one knows.

    I'm ok... just trying to get some outside stuff done while the sun is out. My daughter goes in Thursday to have 5, yes 5 wisdom teeth removed. She can't swallow pill's so this should be a hoot! I'll catch up with ya later. I have taken Thursday and Friday off to be at home with her.

    I can relate totally, we primarily deal with k-3 rd grade the older kids or just outside our district. but we have the same issues, seems like the parents don't want to get involved. I'll look at you post and get back to ya. I have a few ideas.
