VERY DRY! we are about 30 miles south from Charlotte, NC. We have not had rain since the first of September...any at all! I think I heard that we are 16" below normal... or maybe it was 22".... at this point it really does not matter.. you know. stay safe...and dry!

how are things in portland? ha the rain started yet? i was up there around thanksgiving one year and when the rain set in, that was it. we got to see the mt. saint helens, at least the bottom half...LOL!

Hey darlin,
no worries whatsoever. I'd never look down on anyone's injury especially since I've had a broken arm as well and that totally sucked. What they say is true that what doesn't kill you makes you stronger. In my case, even if it kills you, as long as you can survive through it, there's always one more minute to live, fight and push yourself towards being better than you've ever been before. I'm pretty partial to Texas weather even with the wild changes and some extremes that we can have from time to time. I hope we can find time to chat a bit when possible. Have an awesome weekend.

I am never ready for winter, well I am always prepared for but never ready for. I actual hate winer unless thereis snow on the ground and at teh rate we are going the only snow we have seen has lasted 20 minutes dusted the ground and that is it. I wish I had a wood burning stove, I dontmind the work of keeping it going, I don't like writing that check every other month to the oil company. Keep in touch and be safe.
