About Me:
As you can tell, I moved up fast in the ranks. I Started as just a F.F. at 18 years old, just fighting what I loved. Then 3yrs. went to a LT. 2 more yrs. Became the Chief All I can say is, being at the top of the ladder is not as much fun as holding the ladder. My Dept. has came along way, with young idea's and willingness to change. I have great group of F.F. even though we are all so different in so many way's. Drop a tone, and you'll see BROTHER HOOD! at it's finest! Just keep one thing in mind. If you ever work with us, Be Ready! Because, we finish what others can't! And as the Chief, if I put someone else in command. I'll still fight you for the Hose or Vent Team. So, at 29 yrs. old I still have a lot of fight left in me!

    So you're the chief of Washington Court House? I'm trying to remember if any of our fire instructors are from there. My school is in Plain City and our guys come from all over central Ohio.

    Oooh, that's cool. It is nice to meet other people from Ohio. I know a lot of firefighters from West Jefferson, Liberty Township, Columbus, Whitehall, and Pleasant Township... but none from Wayne. That's awesome you moved up in the ranks so quick, I hope something like that happens for me. I don't think i'd want to be chief though. As you say above, its a lot more fun holding the ladder than being at the top.

    I want to play in fire until I'm an old lady...you don't really ever see old lady firefighters like you do old men. After that I'll be hoping for a promotion. Do you know Lt. Allen Scott? I couldn't tell you what station exactly without looking at our directories, but he's awesome.
