Hey Chief, sorry about the soliciting didn't know I wasn't allowed. As a 19 year veteran of the FDNY, I have struggled every year, working more than one job most of those years. A venture like the one I'm involved in is truely a once in a life time opportunity. I felt that it was about time firefighters all across the nation, who have put their lives on the line every day should have a chance to earn a second income that could solve their financial problems and more. I know there has been thousands of get rich quit plans that have come and gone, but this is one that diserves a good look. I would like to send you a link to check out, if you feel that this is as great an opportunity as I do, then maybe, together, we can come up with an idea on how to pass it along to all members of this web site. Again, I'm sorry, and thank you for your time.

Hello there my Friend..I hope this message finds you and yours doing well. It has been a busy time here with work and family life as well. Summer time here is right around the corner and I am looking forward to doing the things that this time of year here in the south allows...like laying under an air conditioner when it is 108 degrees outside...lol..well other things too. Stay safe and keep in touch...Later!! Cliff (a.k.a. Chiefiredog)

I have a question for you. My dept is holding a bake sale this Sunday for the Great American Bake sale to help end childhood hunger. Is there a way to post it on here for everyone to read, and maybe help raise money for it. I have a website for people to make online donations for it. http://join.strength.org/goto/kgfr

My son Joe ,the one burned so badly at a fire 20 years ago, was at my place visiting blast week. We talked about fires as Firefighters do. He is the Lieutenant of Engine 42 in Detroit. He told me he had a tough dwelling fire the day before he came to visit. They entered the front doorway on their knees with two inch and a half lines. They could not advance more than a few feet. They were taking a terrible beating from the heat and flames. He than remembered something I taught him years ago. Check the wind direction. He backed both hose crews out, dragged the lines to the rear of the building, and walked through the building rolling the fire before them until it was out. He laughed and told me that such a basic observation as the wind can sometimes elude your on the scene assessment. He and his crew went over the fire in their critque back at the Firehouse. They learned to always remember the fundamentals when fighting a fire. It was a fun weekend. The fires I remembered have seemed to get bigger over the years. Anyhow that is what Joe told me. Stay safe Web Chief.

Your comment about hearing the sirens wailing down the street certainly brings Maryland to mind; I sincerely believe that Baltimore in particular has more Federal Q's per capita than any other city in the nation!

Hey, is something up with the site? I have tried to post a blog (which got lost) then tried it again but it keeps reverting to the "add a blog". Then I tried to direct e-mail you but it won't update. Hmmm- something is afoot...
