Why I Joined Fire/EMS
I grew up watching EMERGENCY!! I have always had the desire to be a Paramedic. I have been through many trials in my life and I love being able to comfort people in traumatic situations. The best part of my job is being able to honestly tell people "I understand" and really mean it. I love sharing my testimony with my patients. When people look at me, I want them to see Jesus and His love and be comforted by that.

I'm also an adrenaline junkie and I love the rush and everchanging environment!!
Why I Love Fire/EMS
I love sharing the Lord with my patients!!! That is what I am here for..I also cherish the comraderie. The adrenaline rush isn't so bad, either!! lol

    Hey there...I really enjoy the Red Cross. I have worked here since days after 9-11. At times it has been a wild ride. Locally I've responded to Ice Storms, 3 plane crashes, a couple of floods and quite a few large apartment fires. Mostly my job, however is back office support and on occassion public relations. That is part of the reason I enjoy the fire department so much. It is much more hands on. But look at what I go and do...now I'm the department secretary and soon treasurer...~LOL~
