Hey Josh, glad to hear from ya. Well....were to start. First, if you haven't already... start by looking on www.usajobs.gov & look up what's avail. Also, what is your current level of cert & trainee position? I'm an ENGB/CRWB/ICT4 & a STLD trainee up here at Fort Lewis (you might have heard of it...lol). Also, where do you want to work & who do you want to work for? Just to get started....Stay Safe, Ric

Well....If your sched allows, I will be teaching a FF1 class soon and you're more than welcome. When is your refresher class? As far as working for the USFS....where do you want to work? (ie: OR, CA, UT....)
  • Ric Smith

My pleasure...always glad to help. By the way, THANK YOU for your service. I'm ex-Navy myself. As far as the FF1 class, I'll keep you infomed. If you find yourself needing a refresher class, we will be holding one in mid-late March...the FF1 should be about that time as well. Keep in touch, Ric

Hey Josh, Well... bad news. Since we conducted a class last year for those who were ready to move up, there isn't enough students to have a class. BUT, I've included a link to the Washington State DNR training sched. which give a few options & FREE classes. Sorry about that, Ric
