I started in UC, later becoming Secretary and Training Coordinator. Recently and currently I am with Cibolo FD where I hope to remain and volunteer my time until I'm too old to get on the engine.

Why I Joined Fire/EMS
It was a long time desire to be in the service. Always that deep pang inside. So setting up FD tours for homeschool groups across Texas was really eating at me... we were spending a lot of time with FD's and I got closer to my own dept here in UC. I met a veteran firefighter/medic (37 years in) that I became close friends with and he was my "lightbulb" that I could do this dream. I love helping people and taking care of or "mothering" people. I'm an adrenaline junkie too so that fits right in! LOL
Why I Love Fire/EMS
Feeling like I can make a difference in someones life. (Is "ALL THE COOL SHIT WE GET TO PLAY WITH" an appropriate answer too???)

    Nothing yet from LO. I talked with the HR director and she said they were working on setting up interview dates. I tested for the city of schertz and passed everything so i go in for an interview on december 12th!! I hope ill have an early christmas and get hired on.
