Why I Joined Fire/EMS
It runs in my family as volunteer firefighter's, just I'm goin' do it professional/paid. It's something I like to do and always helping someone when times are bad!

    i love it... it is in the family. The only EMS calls we do are ALS. I like that. I love being an EMT and have been since I was 18, but I get tired of dealing with the bullshit runs. I don't have to whenI am on the trucks because they are all ALS. They are not all amazing runs, but they are also not "grandma fell and can't get up" runs. We don't get alot of amazing house fires either, but we do a decent amount of mutual aid, so i can live with it. Delete Comment

    that is pretty cool... Our last "house fire" was some curtains on fire. We could see a spot on the floor that had been burnt, but it had put itself out. It def wasn't worth getting out of bed for. I personally didn't even get to see flames.

    Check out the some of the Groups, I have started up "Close Calls" an area to tell your story of what you did and should not of so others learn. "Roll Calls" this is another group that allows you to tell us about your station and district. "Trainers Corner" is another area that you can read about issues other trainers have or deal with. As well if your not a trainer you can ask questions or state concerns you have. If you have a hard time locating them just go to my site and look at the bottom left hand corner.
