Hey brother...hope you made it thru the rest of your shift unscathed...shoulda seen the cluster fuck George and I went to in Alton this morning. It was like a 3-ring circus.
  • Tommy McQuade

George and I got called out for a medic intercept for a "stable postpictal" seizure patient down off roberts cove, when we get there its their rig with the live-ins, and no less than 6 POV's and a 3-ring circus in the yard. 4 people in the back of their rig with 2 patients..seems the guys wife started having chest pains and was throwing up when we got there but they wanted us to take the siezure guy...anyway, long story short, reinforced why i would rathr deal with full-time (FD preferably) as opposed to volly whackers. i don't wanna volly bash, we all gotta start somewhere and some are really good at what they do, but that did not instill any confidence in my perception of them.

Not so busy today. But while I was on Vacation, they had a fatal GSW, guy jump off a bridge, and a pedi code they called on scene. How are things your way?
