I cut my teeth with the Ascutney, Vermont volunteer fire dept from 1982 to1987. I then moved to Tn it took three years b 4 i settled in to where i could get involved w/ the fire service again.
My Training:: Vt & Tn State certified as a firefighter with live burns in interior structural & propane. hazmat as well

Why I Joined Fire/EMS: i ask MYSELF this from time 2 time, when i have 2 deal with all those who spend more time being politically correct than actually acccomplishing anything PRODUCTIVE while keeping the rest of us in a non productive box as well. Then i remember, there is three types of people here, The victims, The actual workers of first responders, & the "drones". oh, yeah, yeah thats right victims thats y i r here.
Why I Love Fire/EMS: this is one thing i do really well, becuz it is my calling and it is HE that is within me that gives me the power & the wisdom to do it at all... and i RECOGNIZE that it AINT "me" at all.
