we didn't even go. we had more than enough for the truck but we just stayed and drilled on the trucks with one of the new probies. i can't wait for this b.s. to end.
i went on that call on Margaret Drive or where the hell it was in the heights. i made it down to the main house before anyone else. i'll see about sunday, i should be ok but i heard you want to make it a 6 am start...that ain't happening...see ya later
my weekend was good it was quiet around here thank god..i really love your blog local firefighter, its so true and it happens to many families so to you and all my fellow firefighters please stay safe and watch your brothers and sisters backs.
Ours have been mostly med calls but did have a decent brush fire this morning. We can't catch the person doing it though. With the burn ban in effect, when we do catch him, it's going to be nasty. This was the second one he started in two days. We'll catch him though.
U are welcome. Did u work yesterday? The reason I was asking cause the Rescue Dep. I work for was so busy yesterday. I leave out in the country where it is nice and quite but yesterday we never stopped.
Check out the some of the Groups, I have started up "Close Calls" an area to tell your story of what you did and should not of so others learn. "Roll Calls" this is another group that allows you to tell us about your station and district. "Trainers Corner" is another area that you can read about issues other trainers have or deal with. As well if your not a trainer you can ask questions or state concerns you have. If you have a hard time locating them just go to my site and look at the bottom left hand corner.
oh ya know... right now we're in a moderate dry spell... nothing too big happening on our side of town. had a big worker the other night on the north side but nothing too exciting here... just elderly people in respiratory distress.... and yourself?
you call your area bedrock too? that's funny. we call our district bedrock because in fact we do have a large crushed stone quarry that takes up almost a 1/3 of our area.
