Me and couple of my firefighters were hangin out at the firehall the other night during a storm watching it anticipating some calls, when I got a phone call from the neighboring department that they needed my help. They were getting called for their water rescue team to assist another neighboring department with rescues because their town was getting flooded out. I am the only water Rescue Tech in my Department. When i told them I had to go they needed me cause i was a tech they kinda just stared in aww as i left. I'm hopeing that this helps them see that training does pay off.
