Not bad... But I don't exactly agree with centering the truck in the photograph. Sometimes the back ground is what makes the shot. Remember, follow the rule of thirds. Here's a really detailed link on the "Rule of Thirds" Its a tough read, but worth it.

I believe your right in some ways Jon, The big question is what are you going to use the photo for? Is it for an apparatus only Mag or for a new arrival or is it for an action shot for a manufactures web site or your FDs action wall? I believe the article points out some great shooting points but not all of them work for everyone. Thanks for the link, I will check it out, so keep them coming. I know for one, every bit will help in shooting the best shots.

(Apparatus photo tip)
Some people like to wet the pavement around the apparatus before taking the shots, this makes the ground blacker and makes the apparatus stand out. I will dig out a photo and post it later.
