Hey guys talking about fund raisers for Dennis Leary's foundation, a GREAT one to go to is the FDNY Bash, it includes celebrities lost of alcohol, food, bidding on prizes and a really really good time. Its kinda salty to get in but its well worth the money a guy on my dept. went up to new York during 9/11 and met some guys threw that and then had some other connections and got us into the party which wow yes, I did have a good time. It also featured some auction stuff like, 2 tickets to the super bowl, with a private jet, another good one was to play a game of hockey at Dennis Leary's house, which went for $100,000 so that type of stuff us regular guys can only wish for lol but I would have to say my highlight of the night besides meeting a bunch of celebs was I was single during the time and Sheila and from the first season the female firefighter, they were dancing at the after party up in they VIP party room and they asked if I wanted to dance, I had a few drinks of liquid courage then a few more of course before they asked me to dance so I said hell ya, so we danced for a little bit. We also got to meet Franco, Sean, and Mike from the show, and Franco and Sean were kicking Mike in the balls like they do on the show it was pretty funny to talk to them. So I would have to say that was a pretty good night. And well worth the money spent, this was back in 2004 and I believe it was $350 to get in, but that was all you can eat and drink. Well worth the money so if you can get tickets to go to it get them cause it is a good time. I know it was early November so if you got time off soon and have the money and can get up there start searching.
