I've recently started watching my daily calories and what I'm eating, so when I actually do drink a beer I try and make it something worth having. I'm a big fan of Guiness and I like a black and tan mix that I get here in Florida called 'Mississipi Mud'.

Recently, I tried out Blue Moon and was very pleasantly surprised by the citrus flavor. Anyway, look forward to chatting with some other folks about the finer qualities of well made beer.

Blue Moon, the current rage around here. Was it garnished with a slice of orange?
Yeah, fortunately the person who introduced me to it knew that because I certainly didn't. I also tried fried pickle chips the same night, that was before the diet.
I saw BEER GROUP and thought, what a great idea! I love beer, so naturally, I should be part of that group. So here I am. Where's the beer?
...what, you didn't bring it?!?!?!?
I too started watching what I eat and exercising more, only drinking on the weekends. Although I'm not a huge fan on Blue Moon, I do love a Guiness. Heinkeken Light would have to be my favorite beer at this point. Any beer that has the skunkiness of Heineken with that light flavor is wonderful.
YEAH!!! Another Guiness fan, most of my comrades here are afraid of the dark. LOL
Guinness is good for you.

My wife has graciously given me control of the garage refrigerator for beverage storage. Especially after mowing the lawn or while grilling outside: Corona, Rolling Rock, or Yuengling Light. Heavier stuff for relaxing: Guinness, Yuengling Black and Tan, or maybe Bass. Some St. Pauli Girl or Molson Golden, or if there's something that looks tasty that week, like some Sam Adams, or maybe a bock beer. When I was in Australia, I got fond of Toohey's Old and XXXX.
I think FireSiren spilled some beer on their keyboard! I cleaned up 50 of 51 replies if that's OK.
Guinness is the proverbial raised bar for dark beers. But if you get a chance, try a Leinenkugal's creamy dark. Definitely worth a chance.
LOL love those gremlins! I will admit, I did not know that is one of st. Florian's claim to fame. Problem, it wasn't a problem, though it was nice to see someone that exited to join the group. : )
Has no body tried the Heinekin Light yet? Mick you have an impressive taste for beer, you should add the HL to your pallet.
I'll go try some; I'm always trying to increase my world-view.
