1976. No gear and BOOSTER lines on a fully involved room. This is the only fatal fire that my district has seen in the past 50 years. Pot belly stove. Woman who was legally blind. Lit newspaper to start the stove, paper fell out and started the room on fire. She got to a window, but didn't make it out.
