While we will continue to work on basic firefighting skills the emphasis for this year is officer training and RIT/Save Yourself training.

There is always a need for refreshing and perfecting basic skills like hose work, ladders, search, and so on, but at some point you have to move to more advanced skills, especially RIT/Save Yourself.
