Anybody know of a good place on line besides ebay to list used fire equipment? My department is selling items such as Amkus Jaws, 2100 gallon portable ponds and pond brackets, several fittings, and many other items that we no longer use.  I have been searching websites trying to find a good place to list these items.  Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

You might consider donating equipment to fire departments in the United States that are in need of equipment and can not afford it or need to replace equipment recently lost in storms. I emphasize to please donate to United States fire departments, because there are many departments right here at home that are in need and many departments that are not in the United States that are in need, but those outside the United States need to come second to our own departments.  Thank you

We are one of the departments devastated by the storms, on July 10th a EF1 tornado took out our station. We had planned on selling the items we have before that, but now we really need to sell the items to help replace the items our insurance is screwing us around on and deductibles to get our trucks fixed.

Does your state have a surplus auction web site?  Wisconsin does and all kinds of municipal agencies can post their items to sell on there.

Jason I am sorry to hear of your fire departments devastation, I will let you know if I hear of anyone looking to buy fire equipment as well as anyone that is looking to donate equipment that is in good usable condition that your department may need. One place you may want to check with is the Terry Farrell Foundation. Good Luck! Stay Safe! and remember you Brothers and Sisters are here for you!
