i would have to agree with this, i mean come on..there's Remembrance Day for the Veterans so why not have one for our fallen brothers and sisters?

I can not agree more, I have attended many funerals of our fallen brothers and sisters who have given their lives, to protect lives and property of others. There are many people alive, and a lot of property still in place today because of those HERO'S.  Arizona Hot Shot - 19 Webster FD, - 2, Worchester FD,  - 5, FDNY - 343, Buffalo FD - 2  Charleston FD - 9 just to mention a few in recent history. They certainly deserve a national holiday to be  remembered by the nation for their sacrifice.
