RIT Training

How often does your department do RIT training? 

Do you know everything that is in your RIT bag?  Does your crew?

Do you check everything in the RIT bag every morning?

Describe your last RIT drill.

Please share your policies and training details.  You may have a drill or parts of your policy that someone esle is looking for.

We just started RIT in our area and don't really have a specific RIT bag yet. Our last drill was working more with our TIC, wide area searches and packaging. We just demoed some RIT air packs. We have a standing agreement with the rest of our county for mutual aid for RIT and various other types of calls. Because we are a volunteer we would only check our RIT bag maybe once a month. We will do RIT maybe twice a year.
