Hurricane Impact windows and techniques on venting them.

Came across Hurricane windows at a job a few weeks back. Was wondering if anyone has come across them and the techniques use to vent them.

Please use the search function. There have been several other similar conversations, although some of them may have been phrased as "armor glass", "reinforced windows", or "security glass".

Hurricanes tend to be somewhat 'windy', do ya think wind blowing debris around might, could, possibly hit that there 'special' corner? If so it kind of defeats the purpose, doesn't it?
