Starting a new Explorer post
I am starting a new Explorer post in my home town. We are a paid dept and are looking at doing this to help kids in the community and also possibly give us a better pool to hire from eventually. I would be interested in the things you do at your post. If you are a leader or an Explorer, let me know what you do that works and what you wish you could do but have not been able to. Also, Iwould be interested in how your rank structure is established. There are no other Explorer post in the area, so I am kinda flying blind. Any information you could give me would be a huge help. Its the exploring website. Will get you started by contacting the right people and what you have to do. It's a little more work then just starting the program but it is worth the effort.

Yea, I am already working with the boy scouts and am recruiting kids right now. I am just interested in what other depts have that works or dont work.
