Who uses what brand of SCBA?

When I started out years ago,we still had a couple of demand model MSA packs.We had Survivair Sigmas for the past 14 years and just upgraded last week to Sperian Warriors.Just curious as to who uses what brands and likes and dislikes of any of them.

Last year we just got new sets. We used to have Sabre, but now we have Dräger.

We've got the Dräger PSS7000, with Bodyguard 7000 and the masks are the FPS7000.
So actually the whole set is the 7000 series.

A minus in comparison with the Sabre is the connection to the bottle. The Sabre had a sideways connection which was easier to handle.

I am thinking of going with the new Drager. They look really nice at first look. how do you guys like them ?

we are looking at Dragers to replace our Scotts. Obviously you like them and they looked good when I got a preliminary look at one . Anything specific I can look for or compare?

We use the Scott 4.5's. I like the PASS system, voice amp and heads up display and have no complaints about the breathing air system design. I used to use Draeger, which was awesome --- leading edge technology.

We us Scott 2216's. All steel bottles. They are heavier but they take a good beating.

MY DEPT. USE MSA'S ALL WE EVER USED. I HAVE USED THE NEW SCOTT'S A GOOD SCBA. BUT I LIKE MSA.

Full-time gig -In the process of switching from MSA to Scott using a FireAct grant. Just purchased 37 for all the engines and heavy rescue. Will switch out the light rescue and service trucks over the next 3-5 years from the budget.

Volunteer gig - Primarily MSAs with some older SurviveScares.

I have always used Scott's we just went to 45 min bottles I don't like them I liked he 30. I have used MSA when I went over to help out with live fire training at another department and I did really like them.
