fire helmets

Sorry about the delay on this subject....New Orleans used these helmets in the '70s & 80's.  A lot of other dept.s also.  I wore one for a while & it was GREAT!!!!  Very comfortable, good side protection!  Well ahead of it's time!!!!!!!!
