SOUTHFIELD, Mich. - Firefighters spent several hours putting out the hot spots on the Southfield building that caught fire on Wednesday afternoon.
Harvard Plaza Ltd. is near Southfield and 12 Mile roads. The blaze tore apart the office plaza.
Fire officials said that after hours of searching, they did not find any victims inside and no one was injured.
The plaza housed a dance studio, a church and business offices.
Fire officials said they have not figured out the fire's cause yet.
Police and fire officials closed several nearby roads in their efforts to battle the blaze.
Commuters were asked to avoid the area.
The Bloomfield Township, Birmingham and Royal Oak fire departments all assisted in putting out the fire.
