My pride and joy, an old school lid got water logged and rolled out off a truck. The front two panels collapsed. Does anyone have any ideas on how to even begin to repair this if possible. I have three other leathers, N5A and 2 N6A's, but this was my FOOLS lid.I have 32 years in and this hurt me hard. Thanks!

Sorry to say that if the 2 front panels collapsed then the impact cap was majorly damaged. This is not a repair I would suggest or even attempt for your personal safety. Leather for ever and it sucks that you have to get rid of it but this helmets only spot now is on your wall or in a case somewhere.

Time to start the memories with one of your other lids.
Sorry Keats,
But I really have to agree with Sparky on this. With the panels coming off it just isn't safe for your dome to keep it in service.
Put it on display and the "stories it could tell" would be a fitting retirement.
Take care. Stay safe.
