I am not reporting a LODD but asking where I can find information about some. I have to do a LODD report for my FF2 class. It has to be about a firefighter that died in a fire during fire supression efforts and what was done to get him out, what kind of building was it how old was it what was it used for and so on. The problem that I am having is that I am not sure of where to look for this information so if anybody can help it would be greatly appreciated

There are several places to locate such info, USFA, NIOSH, etc. However, here is a link to the LODD our dept experienced. The report, the structure, actions taken, lessons learned, suggestions, etc are all there. If you want to use this feel free, message me if you want any other details on this, I was on E-411 that day and part of the RIT team.

Joe,

I'm really late in getting this message to you, but try here:
www.honortheirsacrifices.com

It's a great place to visit and find lessons learned from LODDs, even when reports are due.
Take care and be safe,
John
