The show Rescue Me

Does any of you watch the show Rescue Me? It's on every Tuesday nights and the guy's name is Dennis and I saw him in Worcester,MA for the 6 firefighters that did not make it. We went to that sight.

When it first started I lost interest because of the soap opera content Tyler mentioned. Relatively little action and way too much soap suds...

Gregory Borg, It's not really a soap opera, but it's just a show. I'm just waiting for the hockey games on TV because I like hockey.

Guys, it's a drama. Not a docu-drama or anything else close. Actually it would be in the category of dark humor ratings wise. Personally I find it entertaining. Also because it has somewhat to do with the fire service I like it more. Dennis has contributed alot to the fire service. He's not trying to emulate the FDNY. He's publically said that in interviews. It's TV guys! That's all. Nothing more. Don't like it, don't watch it.

Funny, yesterday I asked about a retired FF who's done a ton of work for the service and is sick and possibly gone from the earth. He had some very informative popular blogs and a podcast (which was somewhat slanted)but I learned alot from. I knew he was ill but not sure how ill. His blog disappeared along with his podcast in late June. Nobody said squat about it. Now bring up a fictional story with D Leary and everbody's got something to say. Hmmm
