Thoughts on New Features
The developer folks are still working out a few new bugs, but overall the new functionality is installed and working.
Among the known outstanding items that are supposed to be adjusted ASAP are:
- Ability to message all of your friends at once from your friends list
- Putting the "Post a Blog, Start a Discussion, etc." right on their respective boxes on the home page.
I'd be curious user's thoughts on where the Profile info is now in your personal profile. Keep in mind the private fields don't actually show up for anyone but you. I personally liked them on the left hand side and have a hack to move them back there possibly, but wanted to hear everyone's thoughts first. The move was made apparently to set the stage for the next update or so will include the ability for you to completely control your user profile and what is where .. so it is really more of a short term issue.
Otherwise, you should see some (hopefully) drastic improvements to the videos, photos, groups, blogs and forum pages ... all steps in the right direction to making the site more user friendly and easier to get around and view content. I'll also be selecting groups, photos and videos to feature regularly on the tops of those specific pages (you'll see the first few when you go there).
You'll see bigger photos more often and wide screen videos when appropriate.
Group owners can now add RSS feeds to their groups, Comment Walls have been enabled for groups, and you can control who can message the entire group.
There are sure to be a few bugs here and there, so please use the Contact link at the bottom of the page to report issues SPECIFIC to you so they can be addressed, do not post those kinds of things here unless its clear it impacts everyone.

I think having the profile in the center is fine. In fact the new layout looks really good. I'm glad the discussion titles are back in red, too.

An updated release is coming in a few hours which:
-Add back "Send message to all friends" link from the "My Friends" page
-Add "Start new blog post/forum discussion" links on main page
-Work on formatting issues of profile questions and answers on your profile page.
-Add "My Groups" link from Groups tab

Yes, sometimes folks can be a tad color blind :) I've seen some people with blue text on black background. Luckily, this only applies to personal profiles ... and that is part of the freedom of letting users totally customize the style of their personal profiles.
There are quite a few new themes for users to use...

No, I think it looks good but like I mentioned, I was away for a few days and when I came back, Voila! It was a little overwhelming (that's an overstatement, but you get my drift) at first trying to navingate through what used to be pretty familiar stuff, but I'm okay now. Nothing a little Crown and ginger won't cure.

Well, other than trying to go back and edit out your typo. Something is up with the editing feature. It's probably me, but in the meanwhile, ignore that extra "n" in "navigate".
