TMVFD has a ATV rescue team and a good majurity of the members are on the team. The FD recently purchased a Res-Q tec ATV rescue trailer . It is equiped with an IV pole,Adjustable rear attendent seat, medical heart monitor tray, patient light, and a patient litter. It can be pulled behind any All Terrain Vehicle. It's purpose is to help an injured victim where an ambulance cannot be used . I'm sure you all probably know that but just thought I'de specify.
That's sweet. We too have a rescue ATV and our trailer kinda looks like a bob sled on wheels with enough room for your backboard to be secured and two rescuers to ride along. The head of the trailer is shielded for rain or branches. In the winter the tire harness is removed, and front and rear skis are put on. It is a very versitile and year round rescue trailer.
