Any personnel in PPE at a fire scene that can't be in IDLH situations, I.E. Explorers or Recruits, wear red helmets. Fire fighters have black, technicians yellow, all officers have white, with chiefs having gold trim. The paid personnel have the traditional Cairns, not sure of the model, while explorers and recruits have the metros.
