U.S. Fire Administration

The U.S. Fire Administration has announced the official line of duty deaths of Firefighter Jeremy Bolick, 23, and Firefighter Tommy Wright, 20, of the Blowing Rock Fire Department on March 21, 2010.

Firefighters Bolick and Wright were returning home from fire department mandated training when the vehicle in which they were traveling was involved in a two vehicle collision. Both Bolick and Wright were killed and the cause of the accident is under investigation by the North Carolina State Police.
