MILWAUKEE - Milwaukee police are looking for the driver of a car they say struck a firefighter on duty and then fled.
The unidentified firefighter was on the scene of an auto accident about 4 p.m. Thursday when he was struck by a passing vehicle. He was transported to a local hospital and police say his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
Police tracked the suspect's license plate to his residence in Pewaukee, where he was taken into custody.

People are alwayse in a hurry to get nowhere! Stories like this happen all the time. One of my closest friends got nailed by a drunk driver at a accident. He is in the guenness book for person struck by a vehicle thrown the furthest distance and made a full recovery. I wish people would slow down give us a break and understand we are doing our job! We didnt cause the accident!
