Grants

Has anyone got any good advice or help ion writting Grants. I am from NY state never wrote a grant they are due in four weeks. I wasnt just dragging my feet it got tossed to me last night at our meeting so I am in a hurry to get this done anyone having good information or advice on where to go please let me know or you can email me at the following email

I am the safety officer/grant writer for the Iowa Falls Iowa Fire Dept. I have been awarded 9 of my 13 Assistance to Firefighter and SAFER grant submissions, including the last 4. I am a full-time college professor.
You can email me directly at Bernal.Koehrsen@iavalley.edu. I have some word files for SCBA and PPE that were awarded in the early rounds of the grants that I would share with you.

You may also check and see if any of the fire schools around you offer a "grant writing" class. They offer one down here for us. Even though it's probably to late for this go round, it may help you out in the future
