doe's anyone have any ideas on how to raise money for explorers?

hello ty you for your post.we just dont get much snow hear but thanks for the advice.we just started the explorers back and we are trying to find ways to raise money.

Our fire explorer post does fundraisers too. The kids do car washes, bowl-a-thos, they run an explorer muster with entry fees and get awards donated, spagetti dinners are easy too, etc.

Another idea is rent a post for yard clean-up (chores) with the owner making a donation toward the post for labor. (raking, leaf pickup, mowing, etc.)

They also run an annual raffle with a rocking chair company donating a really nice hardwood chair with a maltese cross etched into it. That raising some decent cash.
