Budgets
What kinda budgets you guys work with. I guess we are lucky since our county backs us. We have a fire tax in our county and are lucky to have a large number of high end propreties in the south end of the county which helps out the whole county. Only bad thing is alot of the south end departments are pulling out. I guess it make sence for them since they can cut the fire tax in half and save those people alot of money and they will quadrupile (sp) there income. Our fire tax county wide is $0.05 per 100 and they can drop it to $0.02 and make out like champs in the public eye. But it will end up cutting our budgets drastically since that money is going into the county "pot".

Sounds like County elected officials are looking out for there best interest. Not the Publics as usual.

We work on a 3500 dollars a year plus what ever donations we get which some times Isnt very much.
