(AP) MILLSTONE TOWNSHIP, N.J. - Officials are trying to determine the cause of a fire that destroyed a historic restaurant in central New Jersey.

Firefighters were called to the Clarksburg Inn in Millstone Township around 5:37 a.m. Thursday.

State Police Lt. Asa Anderson says the building appears to be a total loss.

No one was injured.

The restaurant's bar room is more than 100 years old and was once a stagecoach stop.
