Don't you love it! Just hope they didn't fall in the fire after we left, alcohol and fire doesn't go well together.
Thanks for making me worry Caleb my son is in the Little League World Series and State Tournament this month. TCSS
Just hit out for the 8th call in 24 hours. This included 2 working fires.
Pager's been really quiet for a while now (uncharacteristic). Only action I've seen is when I borrowed the wajax pump to fill my swimming pool. Good pump training. Everything went smoothly. No casualties or spills.
I'd like to think that people are just being safer nowadays....possibly explaining the quiet pager( had it checked and it does still work). They say things happen in 3's. I'm now waiting for #1. Stay safe everyone.
Sry..my mistake....had a lady fall/thrown off a horse last week.
and that is a all vol. company. we could brake a 1,000 calls this year
today we had a activated fire alarm yesterday we had a hay baler fire
This week was interesting....We got a new Chief and we had 21 calls in 7 days....and this for a small rural Department.....one day alone there was 3 MVA's and 3 Medial calls...told the new Chief we were going to have a "special meeting" and throw his a__ out....!!! LOL
slow day witha controled burn and a stove fire
MVA with injuries last night, hay bales on fire Monday afternoon and STAT medevac LZ class Monday night. A few working fires last week.

Latest run was a medical for a suspected spider bite to the left hand.

Turns out her and her "boyfriend" were deep off into some EToH and she burned her hand with a fallen ember from her cigarette.
