Hello all,
A couple of young men were injured in my area this morning. They were attempting to rescue a victim reportedly trapped inside a burning house. So far I only know the preliminary news report, which said that one was treated and released but the other one was flown to Pittsburgh with burns over 50% of his body.
Please remember them in your thoughts and prayers.
The victim died. She reportedly ran back into the structure for her dog.
Interesting, While training RIT in Chile, the firefighters asked what the stats were for FF saved because RIT was in place - I had no concrete answers as those are less likely to be discussed. I'ld say you guys in PA can put this down as one. GREAT JOB and God Bless.

I saw the story on this fire on my local news. There was absolutely nothing left to the home except for the chimney. One of the injured firefighters, 21 years old, is hospitalized in Pgh after being flown there this am. The other, a 27 year old, was treated for burns and released. Thoughts go out to the injured firefighters and to the family of the woman who perished.
It always sad to hear when someone was unable to be saved in time. My prayers are with the family and loved ones of the victim. And to the two firefighter's who selfishless risked it all, my prayer's are with them and my hat is off to them for their efforts. I wish them a speedy recovery. Please let us know more when you find out more.
