Double edged question.
How long you been in fire/EMS and how long have you been riding?
I have been riding motorcycles since I was 16. So, I have been riding two wheels for 39 years. Been involved in FD for 27 years.
My first motorcycle was a Harley Davidson 125 Rapido. How I wish I still had that one!
Current ride is a 2004 HD Road King. 24,000 miles later, it is the best one that I have owned hands down. In between, I rode Honda, Suzuki and Yamaha. This is the 4th Harley that I have owned. I actually had a chopped '49 Panhead during my "rebellious" years.
Hope to hear from you all.
Ride to live. Live to ride.

I've been in fire services since I retired from the Army, about twelve years now. I rode from ages 15 to 21 sold my bikes and did not get another one for 24 years. I have a Suzuki Boluvard C90 and I'm sorry I missed all the years.
Hello from sunny Kansas, Ohio.. Temp is 35 degrees, almost time to get the bike out! I started riding around 5 or 6 on a Honda 50.. What a ride! Put a few hundred thousand miles on it!!! My brother was killed on my Dads HD 1100 Sporty when I was 9, so put the brakes on riding till I was 17. He got back on 2 wheels, so did I. So all together about 20 years on motorcycles. My daily rider is a '05 Kawasaki Concourse. My love is my '48 HD FL w/ side car.. What a dream! #3 is a '80 Honda Goldwing 1100, been rebuilding/reinstalling the carbs for 2 years now, someday hope to finish! #4 is a '49 HD 125cc Hummer, which is a basket case, barn fresh though! I'm a member of the Patriot Guard Riders, and the Legion Riders. Considering joining the Red Knights.
As far as fire/ems, I've been an EMT for 14 years, currently an EMT-P. I joined the fire service 11 years ago, and am currently a FFII. I am also a FF / EMS instructor, Haz-Mat Operations, Safety Officer, EMS coordinator (for our FD), and President of our FD Association.
Ah, yes; my boss has an Ultra Classis that same color. Jester Purple?
So, those little scooters you all ride; are they electric or kick start?
Hats off to you. You support some great charities with your work.

I've been involved in EMS for the last 20yrs, fire police the last 3 months and have been riding for 13 yrs and would not give any of them up. I started riding when I was 30yrs old. Now I am trying to figure out why I waited so long to learn how to ride. I am currently riding a 2008 Harley Davidson Street Glide. This is my third Harley and by far the most comfortable.
