Our Honor Guard has training monthly (except june, july and august). We train with 6 other Dept's in our area. Each month we go over facing and marching to start training. Then we do posting, or caskets, or flag folding to keep up on all the movements. The location changes each month between all the Dept's. We also go to local funeral homes and churches for training. If the weather is nice, we get out and carry the flags and pikes and axes to stay sharp for parades. we train for 2-3 hours and then proceed to a nearby establishment for refreshments.

Thanks that definetly will.i never really even thought practicing in a funeral home or church

it changes things up a bit, and keeps training interesting. Plus it gives a chance to to come up with some proceedures for funerals in your area.
