I need help finding the chart that says how long it should take you to run a mile at your age, or does someone have one for their department.

Example, 20-25 y/o 7:30 minutes, 25-30 y/o 8:00 minutes and so on.

I found one a while ago but I lost it and I cant find it on the web.

While this isn't a fire service related fitness chart, it can give you an idea on some pretty good standards to follow. When you pull up the charts, use the Army APFT score of 50 as your minimum goal. That is the minimum passing score for soldiers. I hope this is similar to what you are looking for.

Send me your email adress and I have a copy of the Cooper fitness chart that a lot of the departments use , I will be glad to emaill it to you. Some of the expectations though I think are unreal.
