I haven't done it yet, but I hear it's pretty easy. You can buy a new liner from thefirestore.com. To remove the old liner gently lift the brass ring with a small flathead screwdriver. You should now be able to remove the old liner and place in the new liner. Now just tap the ring down tightly with a rubber mallet. I hope this helps.
if it is a leather helmut you should send it out msa i just had my done, the cost was 108 plus i had to ship it to then , call cairns and they will tell you what you need to do .
