So far as I'm concerned, the EQs sound nearly identical to the real thing, and most people could not tell the difference. I was fooled by one, and I've been listening to Qs for over 30 years.

Now: would I buy the electronic version or the real thing? Hmmmmmm... tough choice. Ain't nothing like the real thing, baby.

Q2B........Accept NO substitutes. NOTHING else moves traffic like a Q and a pair of Stuttertones.

We have both a EQ2b (on tanker) and a Q2b (on Rescue). I like the EQ2b. I really do. but if I had a choice I would chose the Q2b. Nothin beats a real Q.

Ok to be completely honest we ordered a EQ2B on an engine just to try it and it SUCKS it sounds like you recorded a real Q and put it on tape and played it over the PA system Yes it is a couple dollars cheaper but if you need to move traffic The Federal Q is the way to go.
