GREAT reply Drew.....you think the way I do about hooking them young....the main conflict is that most of these kids are so over-programmed by the time that they're 18 that they're burned out.
I suggest hooking them even younger than that--get them while they're still in high school or junior high.

Thanks for the advice. Some of what you mention we do already. We do have members with 20 plus years that started as welads and we have turned to them for advice and imput. We do conduct drivers training on a very regular basis as we have a very large dist. and alot of us have began naming trees!!!!! It does serve its purpose. We do however need to do more community events. We do train in the public and we do try and keep the public involved and involve them in the training when appropriate. Thankyou again for the response
