I'm thinking about getting a pair of these:

My department issues long cuff gloves, and coats with long wristlets and thumbholes, so I'm spending my own money on a good second pair of gloves, and want the gauntlet style.

Just wondering if anyone has an opinion of these. Also, is there any real difference between the pigskin and the elk/pigskin gloves, besides money?
