ok so my 15th birthday is on november 19th. Usually my station does something to you on your birthday (the last guy on his b-day got thrown into a dunk tank by the back of his pants), however usually it involves water. it has been extremely cold lately so im wondering if your station (1) does something on your birthday and (2) what it might possibly be. Im kinda nervous about it, lol
thanks
Jess

Happy early birthday! I'm turning 41 on November 14th. No my F.D. doesn't do anything special for our birthdays.
thanks! happy early b-day to you too!
Happy early birthday. I turn 26 in March. We dont have a set thing we do. Usually its only the rookies that get tormented. Hose, Lit on fire, or my personal favorite is sewing the inside of the jacket sleeve shut
I'm a traditionalist and I hope it's just cards, cake, candles and ice cream for you. You should be exempt from pranks that day. Happy B-Day. TCSS
THE ONLY ONE THAT GET SOMETHING FOR THERE BIRTHDAY IN MY DEPAPRTMENT IS THE CHIEF. SO HAPPY BIRTHDAY 2 U.
I doubt they'll do anything with water. It will be late fall, you're a girl and you're 15........
Now I can see them smooshing a cake or pie in your face.
Me, the usual birthday dinner treats at station. before or after birthday depending the convenience or budget of a celebrant. But the celebrant must somehow treats his fellow crew. (burger, burger burger!!!). Seriously, other groups stations if had Chinese tradition influence like - superstition. A birthday celebrant during that day is restricted not to response to any emergency calls. Well it applies to volunteer FFs.

In my case, believe or not. We have fire alarms. And I do get to response. But I am really extra careful that day.

hmmm, you have to find out what's their tradition during birthdays. But expect it might involve water. Hopefully its not a full pledge firefighter thing. Just smooshing a cake or pie in the face like rfdjumper mentioned.

Advance 10-55 (Happy Birthday) Jessica!
At work if ya showed up ya didnt have to pay for the day and ya got a cake. In volly house nothing unless someone bought ya dinner and a cake. But if we were out drinking we usally bought the Bday Boy or Girl a drink!!
