We have personalized state ff plates. Last years was....IADH20 and this year, since so many questions about the plate we switched to... IADWTR. Both my husband and I are ff, I a vol and he is a career ff/emt-i/fire & tank inspector for his regular mon-fri and then his evenings and weekend he vol. In addition we are both pump operators/engineers a we both are fire rescue instructor at the college mainly focusing on pump operations. Of course adding water could also refer to tender(tanker) operations and actually fire fighting.

I am planning on getting the Volly plates for my vehicle real soon not sure whether I get to customise them or not, When I do get them I will post a pic of them.
I have one on the front of my truck that has my dept name Davis and my unit number 713 this pic was taken after a call down one of our many dirt roads. The dept is giving every body new member tags this year.
TX allows personalization of my style plate but the lower words says what I wanted. My numbers/letters were assigned and that style plate is at no extra cost to grunts like me with regular annual registration fees.
The vehicle with the CA plate is slower but gets better as mileage. I drove it to TX last year and only used 35 gallons. I mowed lawns for the gas money too. haha TCSS
I am from Florida and I have an old car that is falling apart and neds a new paint job and on the front of the car I have a personal license plate that says, MY OTHER CAR IS AN AMBULANCE. In the back of the vehicle I have the florida firefighters plate. In florida there are many different style plates you can get. The money that you pay at each renewal gets contributed to that fund. For examples the money for the firefighter plates go to the IAFF. If you purchase a plate with dolphins, the money goes to the marine fund, if you purchase a plate with children who designed a plate with different pictures, the money goes to the children of the schools for continuing education, etc.
